AEG's ProSteam® technology gives you the option of using steam as an alternative to a complete wash when garments simply need refreshing. The dedicated Steam Refresh programme takes just 25 minutes, helping neutralise odours and reduce creasing, including on delicate garments. This can extend the time between full washes and reduce unnecessary laundering.

The machine also features PlusSteam, which can finish a compatible wash programme with steam to help reduce wrinkles. This can make garments easier to iron while providing additional fabric care.

ProSense® – Tailored Washing for Every Load

ProSense® technology automatically weighs each load and adjusts the programme duration and resource consumption accordingly. Rather than using the same amount of time, water and energy for every wash, the machine adapts the cycle to the amount of laundry inside.

AEG states that ProSense can reduce time, water and energy consumption by up to 30% when washing smaller loads, based on its internal testing of a 1kg load against a maximum load using a 30°C Cotton cycle.

TimeSave Plus for Faster Washing

For days when you need laundry finished sooner, TimeSave allows the programme duration to be reduced by up to two steps. The LF7C8636BI also provides a dedicated 20-minute 3kg programme for quickly washing smaller loads.

Hygiene Programme

The dedicated Hygiene programme maintains a wash temperature above 60°C and is designed to reduce bacteria and viruses on clothing while also helping reduce allergens. This provides a useful option for bedding, towels and other laundry where a more intensive hygienic wash is preferred.
